We need your help again. We would really like to reunite this bike with it's owner. Our eagle eyed CCTV operators have spotted a male stealing a bike that was locked up near to Pure Gym, on Avenue Road, Bournemouth on Saturday 29th March 2025. Our ever vigilant Officers have attended the area and the male has been seen to dump the bike and try to avoid capture. However, his getaway plan 'hit a wall'. In order to make his escape, he attempted to climb up a high wall. Unfortunately for him, he didn't quite make it and found himself stuck halfway up. He had to be helped down by ladder and straight into handcuffs! He was 'wheeled' off to custody to be dealt with. Now, we don't know who this bike belongs to and would love to reunite it with its owner. It seems fairly new and well looked after, so we are sure someone is missing it. We would also like to give them the service they deserve as a victim of crime, and prosecute the thief for his behaviour. Please share and contact us on 101 or at dorset police uk with reference 55250044379. PC Hartley would love to hear from you.
